Rare David & John Henderson Glazed Stoneware Pitcher, Jersey City, New Jersey, 1828-33. Molded around the sides with double acanthus scrolls issuing scrolled tendrils centering leaftips, the base of the neck surrounded by a scroll border suspending inverted sunflowers, the neck with palm fronds alternating with inverted daisies, leaf-capped handle, the upper half of the pitcher dipped in brown Albany slip, impressed "D & J/ Henderson/ Jersey City" circular mark and letter "B." H: 9.25 in., W: 6.5 in., D: 8.5 in.
