Rare Etruscan Leaded Bronze Warriors (pr)

Classical World, Etruscan, ca. 6th to 5th century BCE. A matching pair of solid-cast leaded bronze warriors standing atop capital-like bases, with arms at their sides, highly decorated armor with nipples on the chestplate and ornamentation over the bodice and greaves. The figures face front with delineated facial features topped by a close-cropped coiffure and a hook-like helmet above. Size: 4.375\" H (11.1 cm); 5.625\" H (14.3 cm) on included custom stand.
