Rare G.W. Gayle & Son No. 6 Casting Reel
Returning to Lang's after originally selling in the Spring 2007 auction, this impressive German silver, 2 3/4" diameter, 1 3/4" wide spool reel is configured in the standard top hat style and has a tiny, fully operable click switch mounted just above and to the left of the 6 o'clock mounted counter-balanced handle with ivory grasp. The end caps are removable and knurled and aside from slight narrowing of the foot on one end, this reel will grade Ex. A truly rare opportunity to add a prominent reel to even an advanced Kentucky reel collection, with few known examples of this size in collector's hands.
