Rare Gus Habich/Talbot Casting Reel

Made for the Gus Habich hardware stores in Indianapolis, Ind, this Nevada marked Talbot reel is made of solid nickel silver, sports both click and drag switches on the head plate and has screw-off end caps. The dual grasp handle is positioned at 6 o'clock on the head plate side, with the tail plate having the football shaped Talbot logo. With an unmarked full-length foot and finely knurled head cap rim, an Ex- condition reel spooled withhold line ad stamped with serial number 4357. Habich marked reels are much more elusive that standard Talbot casting reels.
