Rare Ko-Akae Quatrefoil saucer - Peonies on Table Rock - Marked! Ko-sometsuke - Dish - Porcelain

A very rare antique Chinese porcelain Ko-Akae (old red, other than Ko-sometsuke (old blue)) saucer with a central decoration of. Peonies on Table Rock , executed in a nice overglaze yellow (!) , green, red and brown with black. In the border a brown dressed rim. Handcrafted in ancient China, for the Japanese market, during the late Ming dynasty, 1600-1630 . Guaranteed original and of the stated period.

Condition: The object is in perfect condition, only a baking imperfection that is colored to be part of the decoration (very rare! without any damages!) amnd some normal moth bites to the glaze. The condition is carefully checked with strong UV-light and bright translucent white light.
