Rare Kosmic Raised Pillar Trout Reel

A square pillar German silver and hard rubber trout reel with faint "The Kosmic - A.G. Spalding & Bros" stamp on the head plate. The size 3 reel (2 1/4" diameter, measured pillar to pillar) is stamped as such on the full-length foot that features the typical Julius Vom Hofe hole, with additional JVH features such as the spiral cut screw-off cap and "notched" washer underneath, and a sliding click that works well. Condition is VG due to a few scratches around and to the click switch, and sun faded rubber sides.
