Rare Landscape by Clarence Boyd (Kentucky, 1855-1883). A rare landscape in oil on academy board by accomplished, albeit short lived Clarence Boyd, a painter of academic training who died very young in Louisville, Kentucky. The work is double sided, including a landscape at dusk, and the reverse side with a German stein. Landscape signed and dated 1882 l.r.; 4.5" x 8" (sight), 9" x 12.5" (framed).
