Manufactured by The Ithaca Gun Company in 1927, this attractive NID (New Ithaca Double) 4E Grade shotgun is a desirable two-barrel set accompanied by an Ithaca factory letter verifying its configuration and options. The set features blued 26" Best Fluid Steel barrels with 2-3/4" chambers, matted ribs, twin bead sights, and ejectors. The chambers are accented with distinctive wavy-line engraving. The original barrel set is choked Modified and Cylinder, while the second set is choked Skeet and Skeet, offering versatility for a variety of sporting applications. The case-hardened NID boxlock frame is embellished with attractive floral and bird 4E Grade pattern engraving and fitted with Ithaca's selective single trigger and top-tang two-position non-automatic safety. The feather crotch American walnut pistol grip stock features classic fleur-de-lis pattern checkering and a factory-applied non-factory rubber recoil pad.
