Rare, Richly decorated with inlay, flintlock pistol, Germany, last quarter of the 17th century. The round iron barrel is decorated with engraving and has the mark of a master gunsmith in the form of a lion directed to the left. The lock bar is made of bronze and decorated with engraving. The end of the grip and other bronze fittings of the pistol are decorated with engraving and chasing. The wooden stock of the pistol is richly decorated with bone inlay; the images contain floral decorations, hunting scenes and mythical creatures. A very high quality made flintlock pistol, a wonderful collector's item. Length 53 cm.
