Soft-bodied animals rarely become fossilized due to their extreme fragility. 475 million years old, Duslia insignis is an enigmatic soft-bodied arthropod from Morocco which looks superficially like a trilobite but was blind, with a greatly reduced number of segments displaying fine hook-like protrusions circling its body. Its head region is a single shield without any details. The present, complete, dark brown Duslia contrasts nicely with a lighter brown matrix. Measuring 3 ¼ x 2 3/4in; Matrix 4 ¾ x 4 1/2in
