Rare Third Reich RAD (Reichsarbeitsdienst) Dress Dagger for Occupied Czechoslovakia by Alcoso Solingen, a good example of a rare and hard to find variation of the RAD mans dagger which has imitation white grips instead of the standard stag horn. The centre with enamel shield emblem. Steel cross guard in a lesser quality. Housed in the original scabbard again with poor quality fittings, lower chape having the German labour service emblem. Standard type enlisted ranks blade with motto “Arbeit adelt” in gothic lettering. Reverse of the blade with Alcoso Solingen trademark. The blade generally good condition, the exterior fittings are worn and plating lifted.
