Rare Viking Textile Fragments w/ Bronze Beads

[ translate ]

Northern Europe, Viking or Norse culture, ca. 8th to 11th century CE. A fine ensemble of rare Viking textile fragments that are tightly woven from natural animal hair and presented in earthen hues of beige, russet, dark brown, and purple. Some fragments feature faint geometric or linear motifs while others bear panels of solid color.
