Rare & Early Hardy St. George Fly Reel
A First Version Hardy St. George fly reel circa 1911/1912, with a single knurled brass spool nut, agate line guide (positioned for right-hand wind only) and strapped tension screw on the rim. The large arbor reel is perforated not only on the outer spool flange, but the arbor as well on this 3 3/4" diameter reel with a smooth brass foot, original grasp and good working check. Seldom found this early and especially this nice.
