A rare Faenza plate, Ferniani workshop, circa 1780
Decorated in Famille rose style by Luigi Benini, in polychrome enamels and gilding, the centre with birds perched on a tree flanked by a flower basket, a fence and an urn on a pedestal, within a blue trellis border, the rim with flower sprigs alternating with a landscape vignette of a bird flanked by flowers, 23cm across (some minor glaze chips to edge of rim)
