Scarce atlas with superbly engraved maps of the whole of Russia and its various provincial governments, stretching from St. Petersburgh eastward to the Pacific. Each of the maps with a captivating pictorial cartouche, many featuring beehives, and a large number with Greco-Roman mythological personages. Bagrow-Castner II, pp 212-215.
Condition Report: Some light foxing and soiling mostly in margins, light dampstains to top margins at times intruding into images but with little negative effect, stains to title leaf, creasing to front free endpaper; overall very good.
