Rare plateau, plat, en porcelaine Creil Montereau, Napoléon III XIXe - Plate - Porcelain

[ translate ]

Rare tray, circular dish in Creil and Montereau porcelain, Napoleon III, 19th century

Beautiful quality porcelain, particularly ringing and fine.
Decor on a blue background imitating a moving sea, punctuated by cartridges in which there are scenes of walks in lush nature and oval medallions with bouquets of flowers. At this time the French bourgeoisie was very attracted to English products, hard earthenware and porcelain which were of very good quality. They come in particular from factories in the Staffordshire region (Burslem, Hanley, Etruria, etc.) , mainly those in Wedgwood, Spode and Minton. This craze is not new, it dates back to the 1780s and almost all French factories have already had English directors and workers who have often "made the rounds" in each of them.

Very good condition, like new!

Cup: 23 cm in diameter
Brand: English Porcelain L. M. &Cie, VERNON pushes the English imitation by even mentioning LM & C° (Company) instead of LM & Cie (Compagnie) . 1840 to 1876

Note that you are buying old objects, they may have traces of time (indicated and visible in the photos which are so important) .

Fast shipping and professional packaging of packages, I adjust postal costs according to the weight of the package, as accurately as possible.
