The Andy Warhol Mona Lisa "La Gioconda" fountain pen 1996 is a Limited Edition and is based on the Recife Mystique pen model.

Recife began with the pen dedicated to Marilyn Monroe in 1994, the limited editions of Andy Warhol, followed by the Mona Lisa in 1996 and lastly the one dedicated to Mao in 2001.

The Mona Lisa “La Gioconda” model was created as a fountain pen and a rollerball pen, both in a limited edition of 5000 copies worldwide. Produced with an electric blue resin with black veins, like the color and tone of the “Warhol Mona Lisa” print from 1978.

The pen is hand turned from solid bar, making each pen a unique creation; It has a wide band flat silver clip.
A silver band at the end of the cap is engraved with Andy Warhol's signature on the front, the Recife logo on the back, and the laser-engraved numbering AW Mona Lisa n°0467/5000.

The cap ends with a two-piece blue resin pointed cone that frames the clasp and unscrews.

It is equipped with an open nib masked in two-tone platinum 18K gold with Recife printed in the center and framed with scrolls, size M.

Fairly long pen, measuring 15 cm with closed cap.

The pen is contained in a tubular transparent plexiglass case with two closures, a sponge on one side and a plexiglass cap on the other.
Everything is kept in a black velvet bag with a wax seal that closed the ribbon at the time of purchase.
Silver finishes
The hood band features Andy Warhol's signature face
and the Recife logo on the back
