It is extremely rare to come across a Record Watch split-seconds chronograph Diver watch such as the present example. The Venus calibre 179 used by Record in this watch is a high-quality manual winding movement, with “Rattrapante” sweep seconds operated through a button located co-axially on top of the crown.
In 1961 Longines acquired the majority of The Record Watch Company, however continued to use the name.
