Rectangular Jade Plaque, Late Warring States
戰國晚/漢代早期 玉長方片飾 A Chinese jade plaque carved on 1 side with stylized ruyi interlace and dating from the late Warring State period.
Dimensions are: 2 3/4 inches tall X 1 7/8 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Age appropriate wear and chipping to the edges.
Provenance: From Mr. Lee in Houston, TX, father collected in Taiwan prior to 1980s. A similar rectangular jade plaque from the late Warring States period, is illustrated in _Zhong Guo Yu Qi Quan Ji_, Vol. 3, Hebei Fine Arts Publishing House, Hebei: 1993, pl. 159 (fig. 1).
