Reed Waller (1949)

Reed Waller Omaha the Cat Dancer Picture Disc Illustrations Original Art and Production Prints Group of 4 (Ordinary Records/Reed Waller, 1989). This lovely picture disc contained 11 songs by The Shakers, and 7 of those songs were written by either Omaha writer Kate Worley or artist Reed Waller. The "A" side art features the Omaha logo with the main character looking at herself in the constellations. Included are the original art for the composite image and the constellation artwork itself. They were created in ink over graphite (and Zipatone) on bright white Bristol board. The image area has a diameter of 16.75". In addition to the art, there is a 7.5" x 7.25" color guide (created from printed line art and watercolored), and an 11.5" diameter full-color printer's proof. The original art and printer's proof are in Excellent condition. The color guide is in Very Good condition. From the Denis Kitchen Collection.
