Case: Case in fair condition with surface wear, scuffing, scratches and patina throughout. Case with previous polish in our view. Reverse of lug with Cartier number 833. Some scratches to the reverse of lugs. Numbers to the outer case back are visible and crisp. An area of pitting/thinning toward the center of the case back. Upper left lug with some visible signs of polish. Please note that the buckle is not signed or marked and is plated metal.
Dial: Dial with wear, oxidation and visible surface corrosion and discoloration to the naked eye, especially to the upper half the dial. Lume plots with dark oxidation throughout. Visible oxidation to the applied indexes and hands.
Movement: Chronograph operating. The movement is running at time of cataloging, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
