Regina Cassola Geometric Abstract Drawing on paper, Signed, Mid-20th Century
This is a geometric abstract drawing on paper by the artist Regina Cassola. The artwork features a composition of intersecting lines and colored triangles in shades of green and red, rendered with colored pencils and graphite on light brown paper. The style suggests a mid-20th century aesthetic, aligning with minimalist or constructivist influences. The artist's name, "REGINA CASSOLA," is inscribed at the top, with a signature "REGINA" at the lower right corner, indicating a personal touch from the artist. The use of simple shapes and clean lines creates a striking visual balance, characteristic of abstract art movements focused on form and color.

Condition Report:
The drawing exhibits signs of age and handling consistent with its vintage. The paper shows discoloration and toning, particularly along the edges and in the upper right corner, suggesting exposure to light or environmental factors. There are several small tears and losses to the paper, notably a small tear at the bottom edge of one green triangle and a larger tear at the bottom right edge of the paper. Creases and minor surface abrasions are visible across the sheet. Remnants of tape or adhesive residue are present on the reverse, and some faint ghosting from previous attachments can be seen on the front. The colors remain relatively vibrant despite the paper's age.
