The first scion of the Povere Signore of the Minor Order, Clair followed St. Francis to Assisi, Umbria, where she led a harsh life, but rich in works of charity and compassion. She loved poverty and never allowed herself to be separated from it, even in times of extreme misery and infirmity. Called Doctor Seraphicus, he taught at the Sorbonne in Paris and was a friend with Saint Thomas Aquinas. Bishop and Cardinal. Saint Roch Roch of Montpellier, universally known as Saint Roch, was a French pilgrim and Thaumaturgus, venerated as a saint by the Catholic Church and patron saint of numerous cities and towns. Saint Peter of Alcantara Peter of Alcántara, born Juan de Garavito y Vilela de Sanabria, was a priest of the Order of Friars Minor. He introduced a reform into the Franciscan family, from which the branch of the barefoot originated. Saint Anthony Anthony the Abbot is one of the most illustrious hermits in the history of the Church. He was born in Coma, a village in the heart of Egypt, around 250. At the age of twenty, he left everything behind and withdrew from the world living in a deserted place first, and then on the Red Sea shores where he remained, living a hermit's life for over 80 years. In fact, he was over a hundred years old when he died in 356. San Bernard After Robert, Alberic and Stephen, Bernard was the Father of the Cistercian Order. Obedience and the love of Church prompted him often to leave the quiet monastic life, to devote himself to the most serious political and religious issues of his time. A master of spiritual guidance and educator of generations of saints, in his sermons of commentary on the Bible and liturgy, he left an exceptional document of monastic theology inclined, more than towards science, towards the experience of mystery. He inspired a devoted affection for Christ's humanity and the Virgin Mother. Saint Paschal Paschal I, abbot of St. Stephen's Basilica, was consecrated on January 25, 817. He was Pope from 817 to 11 February 824. He was consecrated on January 25, 817, that is, not even a day after the death of his predecessor. During his pontificate, he promoted the first missions to the Scandinavian countries. He had the Church of Santa Cecilia rebuilt. Pasquale I is responsible for the first social interventions, as well as two executed. He was declared a saint because legend has it that during a Mass he fell into a "trance" state revealing the exact burial location of Saint Cecilia and her husband Valeriano, martyred during the Roman Empire. The bodies were extracted from the cemetery of Saint Callistus. St. Joseph of Cupertino In the Catholic tradition he is called "the Saint of flights", because of the levitation that, according to the chronicles of the time, he would have performed in a state of ecstasy and that procured him the trial before the Holy Office for abuse of popular credulity, from which however he was acquitted.
