Beautiful reliquary containing Ex Veste of the following Saints: Saint Lucia Virgin: Lucia of Siracusa, also known as Saint Lucia, was a Christian martyr of the early IV century during the large persecution at Emperor Diocletian's behest. She is revered as a Saint in the Catholic and Orthodox Church, which honour her memory on December 13. She is one of the seventh virgins mentioned in the Roman Canon and is traditionally invokes as a protector of sight, also due to the Latin etymology of her name (Lux=light) . St Roberto Bellarmino: In his works contributing to the controversies entrusted to him by the Holy See, Bellarmino often held an intermediate position, that limited any absolute powers. In 1590 he upset Pope Sisto V by stating that the Pope had only an indirect power to depose kings and ran the risk of his book being blacklisted. In the dispute with King James I, Bellarmino highlighted the limits of the royal power, thereby displeasing even the King of France, who in 1610 had his book publicly burned. St. Nicholas from Tolentino: Nicolas is considered a Marian Saint because he claimed he had a vision of the angels transporting the Holy House from Palestine to Loreto (Marche, Italy) on December 10, 1294. The devotees invoke his protection for the plague-ridden, the castaways and the convicts, but especially for the souls of Purgatory. St. Nicholas was also a famous exorcist. San Paolino from Nola: Paolino maintained correspondence with the most well-known religious of the time, in particular with Ambrose, Jerome and Augustine. His epistolary counts 49 letters. He also wrote his Carmina, one of the highest evidences of Christian poetry of the early centuries. There are 33 of them, including 14 Christmas poems. He composed one every year during his stay in Nola St Paolino is the patron of the bell ringers. He is also a patron of the Senigallia Diocese and several other locations. St. John Chrysostom: John of Antioch was an ancient Bishop and Greek theologian. He was Archbishop of Constantinople. He is commemorated as a saint by the Catholic Church and by the Orthodox Church and revered by the Coptic Church; he is one of the 36 Doctors of the Catholic Church. His eloquence and rhetorical skills in the homiletic earned him later the epithet of Chrysostom, literally "golden mouth". His zeal and strictness caused strong opposition against his person. He had to undergo exile twice and died during a transfer. Sold ‘as is’. It will be packed with care.
