Rémi, Georges (Hergé) - 1 Original drawing - Germaine Kiekens, de eerste echtgenote van Hergé - 1936
Beautiful framed drawing in color by Germaine Kiekens, made by Hergé in 1936.
Bought in the late 1990s from Hergé's cousin, also called Georges Remi (see photo I took of him, together with his sister Denise Remi-Gielens) . I bought this together with some other drawings by Hergé, which were sold by Alain van Nijghen a long time ago and are currently offered for very high prices in specialized auctions. (including Artcurial)
I have kept this beautiful work in my collection all these years, but have now decided to sell it.
An absolute museum piece! !
Has been exhibited, among other things, in the Dutch Comics Museum in Groningen, during the exhibition 'From Penseel to Kwast', in which free work by various major comic artists was exhibited.
Will be carefully packaged and shipped insured.
