Remington Model 12 Pump Rifle in Rare 22 Rem. Special. The octagon barrel measures 24'' with a bright bore. The rear open sight has been replaced with a Lyman adjustable tang sight. The barrel and receiver bluing is good to very good with some areas of light oxidation. The plain pistol grip stock ends in a crescent butt plate. The forearm is tapered and grooved. It is believed very few Model 12s were made to handle the Rem. 22 special which was identical to the Win. 22 WRF. The gun needs a good cleaning and should then be rated very good overall.
