.30-06. 24" barrel. SN: 3511059. Parkerized finish, blued safety, front sight blade and buttplate, two-bolt S-stock without grasping grooves. Bolt action, fixed magazine, stripper clip fed battle rifle with adjustable rear sight, fixed blade front sight, sling and stacking swivels. Standard Remington chamber markings with serial number, Remington barrel dated 2-43. Counterpane with a correct FJA (Frank J Atwood) original inspection cartouche and with {Ordnance Wheel} mark, along with RA and RA-P Raritan Arsenal rebuild marks.

Arms, Armor & Militaria Very good as refurbished. Bore dirty and oxidized with strong rifling and will probably clean up. Metal with much of the finish remaining. Mechanically functional action. Stock with scattered bumps, dings and mars, as well as a high quality repair is present in the toe of the stock with a small diamond shaped piece of wood repairing an apparent chip behind the lower swivel.
