Renato Guttuso (1911-1987)
'Basket and Bowl'
Beautiful mixed media created in 1963, in oil pastels on a lithographic base, sheet size approximately 50x40 cm. The work is signed in pastel on the front (bottom left) . Work published and "explained" on page 40 of the catalog "Guttuso graphic work", edited by Paolo Bellini, Club Amici dell'Arte Editore.
The same is part of a series of works all created on the same lithographic base but all "completed" manually by the great Maestro Guttuso, in a different way, with different colors and interventions; Precisely for this reason these works were not numbered because they were to be considered to all intents and purposes unique works.
The work is complete with its very rare paper folder indicating the publisher and its characteristics.
Some time ago, the Finarte Auction House presented one belonging to the same cycle at auction, with a valuation of 2500/3000 euros.
The work does NOT come with a frame (the photo of the framed work has been included as an example only to show how it would look if well framed and hung on the wall) .
The conditions of the work are more than good both on the front and on the back. Shipping will be via courier with adequate and safe packaging.
