Renault - 5 Turbo 2 - 1984

This rare 1984 Renault 5 Turbo 2 was bought by the second and last owner in 1987 with 20,000 km. Mr Carmelo, the second owner, is a mechanic with a passion for rally cars. Already the owner of a Renault 5 Turbo 1, he bought this Turbo 2 with the intention of preparing it for motor racing, but the project (“fortunately”) was never carried out. The car has been parked in his garage for more than 30 years. Only two years ago, Mr Carmelo, encouraged by his son, thanks to his decades of experience in the field of racing cars, decided to carry out his old project optimising it and creating a perfect compromise that allows the use of this iconic 1980s rally car for both road and extreme driving. A switch allows you to select two types of mapping for the Renault Turbo power unit: the first delivers 197 hp at 1 bar pressure, the second delivers up to 250 hp at 2 bars pressure.
