Renault - Alouette Camper - 1963

[ translate ]

Vintage campervan. The Renault Estafette self-build campervan is based on a Renault Alouette from 1963. Odometer reading: 14,500 km The Alouette was the passenger vehicle version of the Renault Estafette. The passenger van was nicely converted into a campervan in the late 60s which also explains the vintage décor. It has a 1100cc petrol engine. The campervan was imported from northern France in 2016. Technically in very good condition which also explains the mileage, the campervan does need a full service and new fluids. The living area in the campervan is made of steel and wood and the exterior is made of aluminium. The interior really evokes the 1970s and has two seating areas, one of which can be converted into a double bed and the other into a single bed. The campervan has a 2-burner hob and a sink with tap. The campervan has a lot of storage space. It’s in very good general condition. The interior is in very good condition, the front seat probably come from a Renault car from the 60s, the rest of the cabin is tailored to this design and colour. The campervan hasn’t driven since 1982, it will need technical maintenance and some repairs in places. It had an oil change at 12,500 km in 1982, it was driven for another 200 km before it came to a standstill. The van still has French papers, it will need to be inspected before it can be driven on Dutch roads or before it’s exported. The body doesn’t have any dents, there is however a small rusty hole in the front right. The van can be viewed and picked up in Yde by appointment.
