Designed as an enameled pug wearing a baguette ruby-set collar suspending a brilliant-cut diamond, to the circular-cut peridot-set floor, French assay and maker's marks, with a wood fitting.
Condition Report:
Stamped with French assay mark for 18k yellow gold, with French maker's mark. Enamel is overall in very good condition, with minor nicks and scratches, with some signs of repair. Rubies on average are medium to deep purplish red of strong saturation, in very good condition. Diamond is bright and lively. Peridots are on average medium to light yellowish green of light to medium saturation, with typical natural inclusions and minor abrasions, nicks and chips as examined under 10x magnification, not noticeable when worn. Minor signs of wear to metal. Brooch size approximately 6 x 3.7cm. with a wood fitting for the brooch that can be hung as a pendant, with some signs of wear consistent with use. Overall in very good condition.
