The front of foliate design set with pear-shaped and circular-cut sapphires, accented by brilliant- and single-cut diamonds, supporting pear-shaped sapphire pendants, length approximately 440mm, signed René Boivin, partial maker's mark for Robert Davière, French assay marks for gold.

Condition Report:
Accompanied by a Françoise Cailles letter of authenticity, dated 29 March 2006, stating that the jewel was created by René Boivin circa 1960.

Signed René Boivin. Partial maker's mark for Robert Davière, 15 rue des Meuniers, Epinay-sur-Orge. French assay marks for 18 carat gold. Sapphires estimated to weigh a total of approximately 16.00 - 18.00 carats, violetish blue of medium to strong saturation, slightly to moderately included, some surface reaching inclusions, reflective inclusions, fingerprints, needles, cavities, chips and nicks. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 1.50 - 2.00 carats, on average H-I colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Tarnish to the metal visible only upon close inspection, scratches consistent with age and wear. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 78 grams.
