. Historic piece from the Poltrona Frau collection, Renzo Frau was inspired by the eighteenth-century tub armchair with low backrest, particularly suited to the upright position in which you sit around a table or in a waiting room. The Fumoir armchair is characterised by the absence of a cushion on the seat and by the decisive volumetric reshaping that make it, today as it was then, extremely sleek and versatile in use.
. Fumoir has brass feet at the front, diamond-shaped stitching on the backrest and buttons coated in leather. With nails coated in leather on the back and the sides. The structure is made of seasoned beech. The suspension with biconical steel springs connected by hand is resting on jute straps. The padding is in rubber-coated horse hair. Frau® leather upholstery.
