Reverse Painted Peacock Table Lamp

Table lamp with an 18-inch diameter domical shade, colorfully reverse painted with four peacocks perched on branches with flowers. The bronze ewer form base with figural putti handle, flowing nouveau flowers and filigree with a nice dark brown patina. Shade has been fitted with a "Handel" aperture ring and spurious inscription reads, "Handel, 3701, Parlow." Ewer converted into a lamp base with Handel heat cap added and spurious stamped "Handel" signature on the bottom. 23 1/2 in. high.
