Rhodes & Sons: An 18 Carat Gold Open Faced Pocket Watch, retailed by M.Rhodes & Sons, Bradford & Leeds, 1883, lever movement signed and numbered 45879, enamel dial with Roman numerals, case back with an engraved monogram, case maker's mark HD and a London gold hallmark for 1883, with M.Rhodes & Son fitted box 43mm wide
Case with surface scratches, case sides with small dents in parts, back cover with an engraved monogram, glass with scratches, dial with some very fine hairline cracks, hand setting correctly and winding smoothly, movement in going order. Total watch weight 77g. We are happy to provide Condition Reports to prospective buyers, but would welcome your request as soon as possible, preferably at least 48 hours before the Day of Sale.
