Refined, rare and unique table service, for 12 people, marked “S. C. Richard, (now Richard GINORI, famous Italian manufacturer famous in Italy and around the world for the quality of its porcelain and its collaborations including Gio Ponti.
Presumably dating back to the end of the 19th century or very early 1900s (also based on the presence of the fire branding) . The plates are entirely white with electric blue, cobalt, sky and sea reliefs and wave decorations.
Refined and linear borders in pure gold. The service is made with a type of white ceramic / porcelain, fine but at the same time quite resistant, it has a blue decoration that could remind / recall the waves of the sea, the sky or clouds and even oysters.
The service for 12 people is embellished with small and rare serving elements.
The service is composed as follows and its measurements: (measurements expressed in cm)
- 1 tureen 22h x 40 x 24
- 2 small oval “raviera” plates 22. 5 x 12. 5
- 1 cheese / gravy boat 10h x 24x 16
- 1 gravy boat with its lid 14 h x 24 x 16
- 1 medium oval serving plate 35 x 26
- 1 large oval serving plate 41 x 31. 5
- 1 large oval deep serving plate
38. 5 x 30, 5 x 5h
- 18 soup plates 24ø
- 18 dinner plates 24ø
The brands on the bottom have different numbers but all "signed" S. C. Richard.
In some elements that make up the service the gold edging has been altered by time, furthermore some plates have the typical crackle and small stains due to the passage of time, imperceptible chipping.
Good but also excellent conditions if we consider the more than 100 years of life of this extraordinary service.
Evident signs of aging which in our opinion increase its charm, value and history.
