Washington Bridge Over the Harlem River
Signed and dated "Hayley Lever 1919" in ink and titled and signed "Washington Bridge/Hayley Lever" in pencil lower right, identified on a label from Clayton-Liberatore Art Gallery, Bridgehampton, New York, affixed to the backing paper.
Watercolor on paper/board, sheet size approximately 17 x 21 in. (43.0 x 53.5 cm), framed.
Condition: Toning, not examined out of frame.

Framed dimensions are 24 7/8 x 28 3/4 x 1 1/4 inches.
The Clayton-Liberatore label is further inscribed "Mr. Wertheimer" in pencil at the top edge. A Clayton-Liberatore stamp on the frame backing states that the frame is finished in 23K gold leaf.
The work appears to be laid down and is framed so that the edges of the sheet are visible. French mat with a typed "presentation plaque" identifying the artist.
