Titled and signed ".../Hayley Lever" in ink lower left, dated "1918." beside the signature (possibly reinforced in a later hand), identified on a label from Clayton-Liberatore Art Gallery, Bridgehampton, New York, affixed the frame backing.
Watercolor on paper, sheet size approximately 16 7/8 x 22 1/8 in. (42.7 x 56.0 cm), framed.
Condition: Toning, pale staining, fading along the top edge, small abrasion to the paper in the vicinity of the date, a cluster of tack holes in each corner, sheet appears to be laid down on a secondary support, not examined out of frame.
Estimate $1,500-2,500

Framed dimensions are 25 x 28 7/8 x 1 1/2 inches.

A Clayton-Liberatore stamp on the frame backing states that the frame is finished in 23K gold leaf.

The work appears to be laid down and is framed so that the edges of the sheet are visible. French mat with a typed "presentation plaque" identifying the artist.
