Signed book: Prose on Several Occasions, accompanied with Some Pieces in Verse, Vol. II, by George Colman. London: Printed for T. Cadel, 1787. Leatherbound hardcover, 4.75 x 7.5, 318 pages. Signed on the front pastedown in ink, "Richard Henry Lee." A note below in another hand reads: "Allotted in the division of books at Chantilly to Corbin Washington, Presented to Miss Ann A. Washington, by her affect: Uncle, Corbin Washington." Autographic condition: very good, with heavy overall foxing to the signed page. Book condition: VG-/None, with peeling to spine leather, scuffing and edgewear to boards, ink scribbles to rear endpaper, and general moderate to heavy wear. Accompanied by a custom-made slipcase. Corbin Washington was Lee's son-in-law.
