Note: see Tate Britain, accession no. P04575, for another impression. Note: Taiwan-born Richard Lin graduated with a degree in architecture from Regent St Polytechnic in 1958 and subsequently continued to work in the UK under the name Lin Show Yu. Lin’s work presents deceivingly simple and minimalist compositions, which take inspiration from traditional Chinese and Taiwanese paintings, as well as modern abstraction including the work of Ben Nicholson.
