This prototype armchair featuring a leather seat was never put into production. Decal manufacturer's label to reverse ‘RM 2011’. Sold with a copy of the design drawing by Richard Meier.

Provenance: Commissioned directly from the designer by Wiebe Elzenga, The Netherlands | Acquired from the previous by the present owner

Condition: Chair frame shows faint abrasions and minor wear along upper edge, with reverse showing few small points of loss to lacquer which have been touched up as needed. Frame also bears one small point of loss to lacquer along lower front edge of seating. Chair does not retain hardware for seat pad which does not affect normal use. Fine condition.
