After spearheading the watchmaking department for numerous companies including the legendary fine jeweler Mauboussin, industry veteran Richard Mille launched his eponymous brand in 2001. Since its inception, Richard Mille has been dedicated to utilizing the latest technical innovations and exotic materials to produce timepieces that are unmistakably modern in look and at the forefront of horological achievements.
The RM011 has been a staple of the Richard Millie range of watches since its introduction in 2007 and was inspired by the F1 driver Felipe Massa. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the collaboration and the deep friendship between the two, Richard Mille introduced the RM011 Felipe Massa ‘10th Anniversary’ limited to just 100 examples in 2017. Unique to these watches, Massa’s race number ‘19’ can be found where the number 12 would traditionally be found on the dial, and his signature is on the sapphire case back too. The watch is constructed on NTPT Carbon with titanium mid case encasing the caliber RMAC1, an automatic fly-back chronograph movement is made of grade 5 titanium and hand finished.
The Richard Mille RM011 ‘Tenth Anniversary’ was made in a limited edition of just 160 examples of which this is number 95, and is complete with all its accessories, this example is presented in new condition.
