Letter to actor George Jessel, in full: "This is the first opportunity I have had since returning from our trip to Mainland China to tell you how much I appreciated your thoughtful telegram following my message on the State of the World. Coming as they did just prior to my departure for Peking, your words were especially heartening, and I want you to know of my gratitude for your continuing friendship and support." In very good condition, with staining from old adhesive residue on the back, affecting only appearance.
