The red crocodile is Richard Orlinski's first sculpture. Indeed, the first turning point in Richard Orlinski's career was his meeting with Andy Garcia, who was seduced by the red crocodile exhibited in front of the Normandy hotel in Deauville in 2006. This was the starting point for this that this work becomes the emblematic of Richard Orlinski.

One day, in Deauville, in the middle of the American film festival, I learned that the actor Andy Garcia had asked to meet me. Luckily I'm not far away. As a fan of Francis Ford Coppola's Godfather 3, in which he starred.
There the feeling passes instantly. We stay for two hours talking together. At the end of our conversation, cheerful, almost brotherly, like a friendly crush, I leave with an order. The actor would like me to deliver one of my red crocodiles to him in Florida.
