Richard Orlinski's Born Wild© concept explores the philosophical question of the difference between man and beast.

The sculptor chose Kong, the most human of his animals, to embody The Thinker in homage to Rodin. Unlike the overly muscular build of the original contrasting with a thoughtful posture, the artist downplayed the gorilla's physical strength to focus on his thoughtful side.
