“Coast Scene near Hasting- by R-P Bonnington- Collection. . . late F Rhodes. . .
- Bradford Yorkshire”.
A final, barely legible round label seems to indicate: “Switzerland
French, Basel. ”
A wax seal is present in the upper part: it represents
two lions framing a shield with a castle. (probably from a collection)
