This lot is accompanied by a small exhibition flyer from the Leidenfrost's files. It lists 11 Arnitz oil paintings on either canvas or paper which were included in a show entitled "New Work" at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, October 12 - December 10, 1989. This show featured "A series of recent work by younger and established artists." Although it is not illustrated in the flyer, there is a chance that the present lot might be Arnitz's "Going Down (24 Stories)" shown in this exhibition, given the matching mediums, sheet size, and date.
Condition Report: Overall good condition. Framed floating and hinged to the back mat.
