Memento Mori created by Ried Gould entitled "The Violinist".
Made with a real old 4/4 violin.
At its side has been attached a high quality resin skull with hyper realistic details which has been worked, aged and patinated to give it an authentic and ancient appearance.
An artificial rose was attached between the violin and the skull.
The total height of this work is 63. 6 cm.
The base, which is made of wood covered with old musical scores and whose underside is lined with velvet, measures 5 cm high by 15. 8 cm deep and 26 cm wide.
This creation was designed and designed to be dismantled into two parts to facilitate shipping or transport.
The first includes the base, the skull, the rose and the two tenons on which the violin fits; the second is the violin which has two small holes at its base in order to fix it on the two tenons of the base.
Very easy to assemble the two parts: present the two holes at the base of the violin facing the two tenons and fit together.
Unique and never before seen object!
