Beautiful monumental and detailed work by Rien Poortvliet. Size drawing board 51 x 73 cm. Work 50 x 58 cm. Very nice atmosphere and light. Intended for a calendar from 1997 (month of August) . Made during the last year of life of Poortvliet (1995) . Above the work in the handwriting Poortvliet is noted: “Alsof ze zelf nooit iets misdaan hebben, zo schreeuwen ze hun verontwaardiging uit. ”Signed and dated 1995. The work is in perfect condition. Rien Poortvliet at its best. The last picture shows the image with text from the 1997 calendar. The originals for these calendar plates are almost untraceable. This beautiful work will be carefully packed and shipped by insured and registered mail. Calendar not included. Because of the large format of the work pickup in Maastricht is preferred.
