Frauenkopf. Pastell. 1913. 45 x 35 cm (47 x 38,5 cm). Signiert, datiert und gewidmet an Eléonore de Carme-Filleu. - Teils mit Falzungen, Randmängeln und Läsuren.
Dabei: Ders. 3 Radierungen. 14 x 11 cm bis 20,3 x 13,8 cm (45 x 22,8 cm). Ebenfalls an sie gewidmet. - Seiten teils schmutzfleckig und im vollen weißen Rand mit kleineren Läsuren. - Risannen war Schüler von Albert Gebhard in Helsinki und studierte von 1897-1898 in St. Petersburg bei Ilja Repin. Er unternahm von 1900 bis 1901 Studienreisen nach Italien, studierte in Florenz im Studio von Philadelphia Sin, ging 1902 mit einem Hoving-Stipendium nach Deutschland, und kehrte 1903 erneut nach Italien zurück bevor er 1908, 1911-1913 und 1913-1914 nach Frankreich wechselte. 1918 kehrte er Finnland endgültig den Rücken zu und lebte zunächst in Dänemark und später in Frankreich. Kurz vor Ausbruch des Zweiten Weltkriegs zog Rissanen 1939 nach Florida und lebte dort die letzten Jahre seines Lebens.

Also dedicated to you. - Sides partly soiled and in the full white margin with smaller blemishes. - Risannen was a pupil of Albert Gebhard in Helsinki and studied from 1897-1898 in St. Petersburg with Ilja Repin. He undertook study trips to Italy from 1900 to 1901, studied in Florence in the studio of Philadelphia Sin, went to Germany on a Hoving scholarship in 1902, and returned to Italy again in 1903 before moving to France in 1908, 1911-1913 and 1913-1914. In 1918 he turned his back on Finland for good and lived first in Denmark and later in France. Shortly before the outbreak of World War II, Rissanen moved to Florida in 1939 and lived there for the last years of his life.
